There's a total of 60 minutes of both film and rendered footage to watch during the main story mode. Other parts will be set up by rendered cut-scenes that couldn't have come from any of the movies. In this case, we're given the RV conversation where Arnold explains that he will eventually kill John Connor and that his time-traveling missions have actually been under the command and guidance of Kate Brewster (Danes) the whole time. Certain segments of the game will be set up with genuine footage from the film. You get to play as the recently reprogrammed (by an older but still foxy version of Claire Danes' character from T3) T-101 as he tries to make it to the time-travel chamber. One of the levels Terminator fans will get to experience will be the aftermath of the T-101's abduction by the human resistance. The first person shooter elements will take place in both the current timestream and the alternate future when machines rule the planet.

The importance of having plenty of Arnold, all of the time -not to mention the voices and likenesses of all the actors from the movie- can't be understated.

The would-be governor of California is front and center in T3 and developer Black Ops is mixing first-person shooting with a 3D fighting engine to give us an experience that both parallels and goes beyond the recent summer blockbuster. Sure it featured some storyline from somewhere in the Terminator universe, but there's no question that the main hook for T3: Rise of the Machines is the chance to control Arnold Schwarzenegger in 3D.
